October 1, 2023: Office Renovation & AK Movie!

Hello Patients & Friends!

  • Yes we’re renovating/expanding the office! As many of you know, we will essentially be doubling the doctor count at Systems Health Care in 2024. My son-in-law Zach will start his internship towards the end of this month and then he will have his license to practice in January 2024. My daughter, Makayla, will start her internship in January and have her license to practice in August 2024. To prepare for this, the current garage space is being renovated into two treatment rooms and a bathroom. Essentially this north side of the office will mirror the south side where Dr. Schuler and I currently treat patients. Please excuse the dust and a bit of chaos over the next couple of months!
  • Applied Kinesiology Documentary: There is a major documentary being filmed about the history of AK as well as it being what we think to be “the best kept secret in health care.” In January you will see a film crew in the office as not only are we involved in this project, but we are one of the offices/practitioners they are using in the film. We’re super excited about this as it will help promote natural health care – and specifically applied kinesiology. We have close ties to AK which was founded in 1964 by Dr. Goodheart and then further developed by Dr. Schmitt whom I shared an office with for almost 20 years on the other side of Chapel Hill. My work, through Systems Health Care, further develops and expands the practice of applied kinesiology. *If you would like to tell your “AK story” (in other words – how it has hopefully literally changed your life), please let me or Chrissy know as the filmmakers want some testimonials for the movie. They will also be filming treatment sessions for who are interested.
  • Coronavirus and other viruses are back with a vengeance! Hey, they’re never going to be gone. Get used to it, and get used to the media constantly scaring you. Symptoms this time seem to be head and gut related: nausea, upset GI system, sore throat, slight fever, ear aches, and other similar “head cold” type symptoms. Our Immune Page is still testing well so stick with it as most of you have for three years now!
  • Beautyberries! Yeah you can eat them. These are the small purple berries found on the bushes around the front and left side of the office. Please feel free to pick and eat. Pick as many as you like – they actually make really jams(Don’t eat the pokeberries climbing over the fence! They’re a larger purple berry and although can be medicinal, they can also make you sick.)

I hope to see you soon!
Dr. Gangemi
